Beach Life

Images I photographed from Saturday day when my mum an I decided to catch some waves at Whitsand Cornish beach.

The past few weeks have been perfect weather for one of our local beaches at home, this is why I love England and the West Country. Although bad weather doesn't stop my mum, you can catch her in the sea all year around!

I love beautiful visuals, I am always that person who is snapping pictures of everything and anything. If I'm not taking pictures then I am creating them through drawing and painting. Below are images from my iPhone that I have edited, my Diana photography is still waiting to be developed.

The Gypsy Underground lookbook and the boho and hippy vibes I feel from being in the southwest of England this summer (Devon and Cornwall) inspired me to create the illustration below reflecting my fashion mood during these hot and dry English days.

Jeremy Scott x Adidas

So I've been constantly applying for fashion and beauty jobs in London the past few weeks, I can't believe how hard and competitive it is finding a job with creative and business attributes. 

The only interest I currently have had is working for companies for free. As a recent graduate I am already in a huge amount of debt and can't keep digging myself deeper into a hole, I also think it is completely unethical of companies to get staff for free without any possibility of employment at the end of the internship/ placement. 

As the weather has been absolutely lush today I took a couple of hours off from job hunting and decided to do this "Jeremy Scott x Adidas" blog post that I have been meaning to do for a while. 

I got this swim piece for my birthday and have fallen in love with it, also Iggy Azalea and Nicki Minaji have both been seen wearing it! ekk.

Levi cut off shorts, white Vagabond sandals and red lips finish off this look.

Would have loved to have created a fashion illustration with this post but I have ordered new equiptment and am waiting for it to arrive before I next draw.

"My Body, My Shrine" - Project 104

Beautiful and unique swimwear created in and influenced by its edgy and quirky style. 

Below are images form the SS13 collection for Project 104. Each item that Project 104 is limited edition of only 104 prints, its a promise that founder of the company Sarah makes "we’re not lying each piece is individually numbered from 1-104. Just like a piece of art. Because that’s what we want to do- mix art and fashion and hopefully come up with something that you love as much as we do".

I personally love each swim piece I have seen. I cannot wait to see more, maybe if I'm lucky i'll even get a piece from the SS13 collection.

Photographer Arcin Sagdic caught these beautiful reflective shots for Elle Serbia. Valeria Van Der Graaf shows off sports style as well as key reflective and metallic trends for this Spring/Summer.

I personally can't stop looking at this editorial, the images and colours are so strong and striking. My favourite shots are the ones with the mirror reflection, I love the angular shapes that the mirrors create as well as the differentiation in reflection. 

Festival Vibes

If anyone had noticed I haven't posted for a good few days, this is because I've been busy getting my stuff together to go down to Bristol and go to Love Saves The Day festival!

Summer is my favourite time of year; its warm, and everyone is more generally happier. I love summer fashion and festivals. Love Saves The Day is my second festival of this year, I started early attending Bugged Out but it was far too cold to get a bohemian festival vibe. Love Saves The Day however was perfect, the sun was out the entire day, everyone wearing summer festival gear (lots of cut off jeans, crop tops, play suit, jump suits, converse, sunglasses, bindis and head pieces). I wore a black jump suit which is by Pepe Jeans (was a charity shop bargain), Nike hightop trainers, a silver head piece from Claire's Accessories and sunglasses from Primark (I bought them in Bristol because I forgot my sunglasses - these ones were only £1).

My highlights of acts from the festival were AlunaGeorge, Bondax, Bicep, Monki and DJ Oneman.

When I arrived home yesterday evening a letter was awaiting me. It was my recent purchase of Bindis from Ebay. I hope the weather stays this lovely so that I can get away with wearing them in the sunny day time, if not they will be coming out at other festivals this summer :).
