City by night.
Just seen this shoot and I had to share it on my blog. I love every image and look from this shoot where masculine and feminine is took to both extremes. Editorial "Night Moves" for Interview magazine, styled by Elin Svahn, model- Hanne Gaby Odiele, photographer- Gregory Harris.
These images inspire me to take out my lomogrpahy camera or disposable camera and start shooting the city at night.

Such an amazing campaign shot by Steven Meisel and staring Eddie Campbell for LAVIN Paris F/W13. After seeing Eddie holding a duck for the shoot in such a fabulous manor I had to draw a fashion illustration of it. Hope you like the campaign as much as I do.

Caroline Melita Fashion Art Instagram
Completing Fashion Drawing Summer School at UAL Central Saint Martins on Friday has inspired me to continue to create fashion illustrations on a regular basis. Dress To Impress
So yesterday I started a weeks internship at a Marketing and Advertising company.
Even though its not fashion it still allows me to who my creative side which I love and I am really enjoy the placement.

Beach Life
Images I photographed from Saturday day when my mum an I decided to catch some waves at Whitsand Cornish beach.
The past few weeks have been perfect weather for one of our local beaches at home, this is why I love England and the West Country. Although bad weather doesn't stop my mum, you can catch her in the sea all year around!
I love beautiful visuals, I am always that person who is snapping pictures of everything and anything. If I'm not taking pictures then I am creating them through drawing and painting. Below are images from my iPhone that I have edited, my Diana photography is still waiting to be developed.

Moving on...
Yesterday was a very nerve-racking morning for me, it was the day my final university results were released. I have been super stressed this whole third year and put 110% of my effort and time into working my hardest to active a good grade to graduate with. The hard work paid off as I got awarded an Upper Second Class Honours degree (2:1) in Fashion with Promotion and Communication.
Yesterday as a bit of a reward I got bought a weeks fashion illustration course at Central Saint Martins. Ekk... I'm very excited to be in the same building that so many of my fashion idols have studied at.
The course starts very soon so in the meantime I'm trying to squeeze in as much illustration practice as possible.

Simplicity is a keynote of all true elegance - Coco Chanel
I love fashion illustration. If you follow my blog then you probably already know this. I've just got some new pencils through that I ordered a while ago, I was so excited to have them that I drew this illustration the same day. Its my first attempt of a portrait in the new pencils. I know its not perfect but hopefully over time and experimentation I will be become a stronger fashion illustrator.

Jeremy Scott x Adidas
So I've been constantly applying for fashion and beauty jobs in London the past few weeks, I can't believe how hard and competitive it is finding a job with creative and business attributes.
The only interest I currently have had is working for companies for free. As a recent graduate I am already in a huge amount of debt and can't keep digging myself deeper into a hole, I also think it is completely unethical of companies to get staff for free without any possibility of employment at the end of the internship/ placement.
As the weather has been absolutely lush today I took a couple of hours off from job hunting and decided to do this "Jeremy Scott x Adidas" blog post that I have been meaning to do for a while.
I got this swim piece for my birthday and have fallen in love with it, also Iggy Azalea and Nicki Minaji have both been seen wearing it! ekk.
Levi cut off shorts, white Vagabond sandals and red lips finish off this look.
Would have loved to have created a fashion illustration with this post but I have ordered new equiptment and am waiting for it to arrive before I next draw.
